Reader letter: Such kindness after 999 call

RECENTLY I was taken ill with a stomach bug and had a great deal of pain. When my wife called 999 the paramedic arrived within seven to 10 minutes (we think her name was Sarah), and her kindness and friendliness made a big difference to my recovery.
