THERE is a treasure trove to explore at The Regal in Tenbury for anyone with an interest in the history of film
It is not just the building – one of the few remaining examples of small town cinemas built between the two world wars – that is intriguing.
But there is also a museum full of cinema related artefacts.
The Regal Museum collection includes items found during the restoration and old equipment that was once in use at the cinema.
There are also interpretation panels detailing the history of the building and interesting facts about the history of cinema.
The museum is open whenever the box office is open. This is usually Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm and 10am to 12pm on Saturday.
