BURGLARS were caught in the act by a Lydham resident who came in from the garden in the middle of the day to discover them in the house.
Police say the two men, wearing dark hoodies and dark trousers, fled with some cash when the householder, who had been gardening, came inside.
The incident happened at about 3.35pm on Wednesday, November 4.
The victim saw the two suspects walking up the A489 near the property prior to the burglary, say police. They made off onto the A489 and walked towards Lydham village, near Bishop's Castle, and the A488 junction. A red car with a possible black roof was seen in the area prior to the burglary, which was being used in a "suspicious" manner.
If you saw the men or the suspicious vehicle in the area at the time you should call 101 and quote incident 402s041115.
