THE Women’s Institute is 100.
It was in a garden in Anglesey that the movement had its first meeting in September 1915.
The group in Richards Castle is not far behind having been formed in June 1915 and so is only five years short of its centenary.
Members of the group in Richards Castle had a party to mark 100 years of the Institute.
