SHROPSHIRE artist Reginald Portman demonstrated his newly-patented drawing aid at a presentation event in Hereford.
The artist, who has drawn every church in Shropshire and is now working his way around Herefordshire, decided he needed a shortcut when making initial sketches of churches.
"With pen and ink drawings, sunshine and shadow are needed and our weather does not always help me," Reginald said.
His device, which has been registered at the Patent Office, has been designed for anyone wishing to draw objects while ensuring that the correct perspective and proportion is maintained.
