DYLAN Thomas' work is often overshadowed by his masterpiece, Under Milk Wood. Guy Masterson redresses the balance in his stage show Fern Hill by bringing out the magic of his other works.

It's an award-winning performance which brilliantly conjures Thomas' romantic lyricism and passion and unforgettably illuminates his mastery of language.

The programme includes three of Thomas' wonderful short stories; A Visit To Grandpa's, Holiday Memory and, of course, A Christmas Story (more popularly known as A Child's Christmas In Wales), plus a selection of his greatest verse including Fern Hill, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night and Death Shall Have No Dominion.

Guy Masterson last appeared at Ludlow Assembly Rooms two years ago when he performed his tour-de-force one-man Under Milk Wood to great acclaim. His command of Thomas' wizardry is remarkable, akin to his great-uncle, the late Richard Burton.

To experience the richness and magic of language at its very best, book for the show at Ludlow Assembly Rooms on February 17 at 7.30pm.
