PETER Underhill, a well respected businessman in Ludlow and Tenbury, has died in a ski-ing accident in France.
Mr Underhill, who among his other business interests was owner of DeGrey's restaurant in Ludlow, died last Wednesday in Geneva after suffering serious head injuries in a fall on the ski slopes at Megéve.
An inquest into the 58-year-old's death was opened and adjourned in Stourport on Tuesday.
A former president of the Tenbury Wells Agricultural Society, Mr Underhill was described by his family as a well-loved, respected gentleman and successful entrepreneur.
