TO celebrate the arrival of a stage of the Tour of Britain in Worcestershire Tenbury MP Harriett Baldwin has taken to two wheels.
The West Worcestershire MP hopped on her bike to show support for the superstar cyclists who will race through the county tomorrow.
She cycled to work in Westminster in the week when top riders like Sir Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish will be in Worcestershire.
“I couldn’t be further towards the other end of the cycling spectrum myself, but I cycle to work in Westminster quite often and I wanted to mark the arrival of the tour in the county by hopping on my bike and showing support for the race,” said Mrs Baldwin.
“Worcestershire is a wonderful place for taking part in this increasingly popular sport and it’s also a low-cost, healthy and zero-carbon way of commuting to work.”
