CHRIS Dell is now a district councillor after winning a by-election near Tenbury.
He won the Lindridge ward for the Conservatives in a seat made vacant by the decision of Will Redman to stand down from Malvern Hills District Council
The Lindridge Ward is in the Malvern Hills District Council area of Worcestershire, close to the Shropshire border.
It consists of the parishes of Bayton, Knighton-on-Teme, Lindridge, Mamble and Stockton-on-Teme and it lies to the north of the River Teme, near Tenbury.
"The feedback I'd received during canvassing was very positive, with local residents particularly valuing the fact that I live and work in the ward and that I've demonstrated my commitment to the local area by having been a parish councillor for nine years,” said Chris Dell.
“I'm very grateful to all the people who voted for me and to everyone who helped with the campaign."
