Flight Brigade, a seven piece band making waves in the UK and Germany for their powerful song writing and live performances, are performing at The Globe at Hay Saturday, March 10.
They are back in the UK after sell out shows touring Germany and festival appearances include Glastonbury, Bestival, Great Escape, Beautiful Days, Larmer Tree, Blissfields, Boomtown and reeperbahn.
Flight Brigade’s strength in numbers suits the scope of their songs. The grand orchestral sweeps, the crunching anthemic guitars, with male/female vocals and strings set amidst synths and heavy guitars, their explosive live show feels like it's their last day on earth, "as if Arcade Fire had a face off with Fleetwood Mac and then Renaissance came in for the kill."
"A direct, driving sound that bears comparison to Arcade Fire but also has the crunch of Twin Atlantic," declared Clash Music Magazine.
Flight Brigade will be at The Globe on Saturday, March 10 at 8pm. Support comes from country tinged folk Fountainhead. To book, visit globeathay.org.uk
