NOTICE OF PROPOSAL

HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, BROMYARD) (7.5 TONNES MAXIMUM GROSS WEIGHT) ORDER 2019

Notice is hereby given that the County of Herefordshire District Council, known as Herefordshire Council, in exercise of its enabling powers proposes to make the above named order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit the use of vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes maximum gross weight on the following roads; New Road - From its junction with A44 Bromyard bypass to its junction with High Street, Pump Street - From its junction with A44 Bromyard bypass to its junction with Broad Street, Frog Lane - From its junction with A44 Bromyard bypass to its junction with Broad Street, Broad Street - From its junction with Sherford Street to its juncture with High Street, High Street - From its juncture with Broad Street to its junction with Cruxwell Street. Cruxwell Street - From its junction with Rowberry Street to its junction with Old Road, Old Road - From its junction with A44 to its junction with Tenbury Road, Clover Road - From its junction with A4 Bromyard bypass to its juncture with Old Road, Tenbury Road - From its junction with Cruxwell Street and Old Road to its junction with Station Road (private road). Winslow Road -From its junction with Tenbury Road to its junction with A44. An 'Except for access' exemption will apply to the order allowing properties within the restriction to be accessed.

in the Proposed Traffic Regulation Order section from 13th June 2019. They are also available for inspection during normal office hours at the Council Offices, Plough Lane, Hereford HR4 OLE at The Bromyard Centre; Cruxwell St, Bromyard HR7 4EB and at the Hereford Services Centre, Bluehouse School, Bluehouse Street, Hereford, HR1 2LX. Photocopies of the same may be provided on payment of photocopying charges at the Council.

General enquiries relating to the proposal should be referred to the Traffic Management Team at ADL Traffic and Highways Engineering Ltd (Tel: 01454 332100). Objections to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to the Traffic Management Team, ADL Traffic and Highways Engineering Ltd, ADL House, Oaklands Business Park, Armstrong Way, Yate, Bristol BS37 5NA, or by email to

. The deadline for the receipt of objections is 4th July 2019. Representations of support will also be received during this time. Any representations received by the Council may be imparted to third parties.
