KIRBY Cecil (John) Died on 8th December after an heroic battle against all odds. He will be remembered for his indomitable spirit, dry sense of humour, stories of his pioneering agricultural adventures, and his love of the land and travel. The funeral service is to take place at St John's Church Ludlow on Friday 17th December at 1pm, followed by burial at Ludlow Cemetery. No flowers, but donations - if desired - are welcome for The Comfort Fund at Dinham Ward in Ludlow Hospital, and also towards a memorial bench in John's name to be placed in his beloved Elan Valley.
