MONTAGUE Jenifer Anne Born 26th August 1932: died Hereford 4th January 2021. Jenifer started her career as a makeup Artist for Max Factor before being headhunted to work for a new television station, Granada Television. It was here Jenifer met Paul Montague, a set designer at the BBC. In the 70's Jenifer started a company making rag dolls called Jennie Dolls, eventually selling to over 20 Countries, The BBC show Out of the Rut did a special on her business. By 1978 Jenifer had returned to Television working now in the Wardrobe department at BBC Manchester due to her dress making skills. Here she stayed, soon becoming Head of Wardrobe till she took early retirement due to health. Jenifer leaves behind her son Dominic, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She will be remembered with great happiness for her warm smile, kindness and amazing stories and tenacious spirit. Enquiries to A.H.
