Peter Mound

MOUND Peter Simon, Camilla and David express their heartfelt loss of their father Peter David Mound, born December 20th, 1941, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 5th, 2017. Peter was actively involved in numerous groups within the community. Peter had a passion for archery and lawn bowls. Worked and participated in numerous plays and productions with the Tenbury Amateur Dramatics and Operatics Societies. Peter's commitment to Tenbury was emphasised by his involvement in the Council as a Councillor and later becoming Mayor where he focused on many things like helping to save and revive historical landmarks like The Regal and the Pump Rooms. Peter touched many people's lives and always helped out where he could. His passing will be a great loss to not only those who knew him but also the community as a whole. His Funeral will be held at St. Mary's Church, Tenbury Wells on Monday, December 18th, at 12 noon. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The Family have requested no flowers but donations in Peter's name would be greatly appreciated. Donations will be split between the Local Freemasons who welcomed Peter as family and The Motor Neurone Disease Association in honour of his loving wife Helen. May they rest in peace together.
