GEOFF Simkiss was pleased with a draw - but felt his team could have wrapped up the Shropshire County League points before the interval.

Martyn Jones hauled Ludlow level midway through the second half after sloppy defending had allowed the visitors to score with a header inside two minutes.

Ludlow’s young goalie Keiron Roache made two great saves and Ricky Simkiss headed off the line in the dying minutes of this Division One battle.
