WELLINGTON Amateurs have moved quickly to secure the services of Stuart Corns as their new player/manager for the forthcoming season after Mike Armstrong quit due to increasing work commitments.
The midfielder left his player/manager post at Ludlow Town after the committee withdrew from the West Midlands League Premier Division .
Ironically, Corns will be dropping down anyway as Wellington will not be promoted to this level despite retaining the Division 1 title for a second year. They lack the necessary floodlights to gain promotion at the moment, but are confident this will be rectified during the next 12 months.
