RUNAWAY league leaders Sand-bach came back to earth on Saturday when Ludlow upset the form book in Midlands Three West North.
The home side cemented fourth spot in the league, with two cup quarter finals to look forward to.
On Tuesday Ludlow were away at Whitchurch in the Shropshire Cup and on Saturday host Droitwich in the North Midlands Shield, ko 3pm.
Director of rugby Phil Norton said: "We are certainly finishing the season on a high."
He added: "We have had a good second half to our campaign, played well defensively but need to work on our attack for next time around."
On Saturday, Ludlow were 3-0 up at half time through a Mark Williams penalty. After the break, Sandbach took the lead with a converted try thanks to Ludlow mistakes.
But then the home side showed their true mettle.
Flyhalf Williams ran in a converted try after his forwards had driven hard into the Sandbach lines.
