Five gold medals for Archers of Teme

FIVE Archers of Teme members bagged gold medals in a hard-fought final Architectural Heritage competition of the year.

Mark North, Ben MacVean, Libby Keysell, Sofi Keysell and David Jennings shone in the Archers of Teme-organised event at Moor Park School in Ludlow. More than 60 archers from nine clubs across Shropshire shot rounds consisting of 72 arrows over distances up to 80 yards and used a variety of equipment. Press officer David Gates said the backdrop of hills and woodland had inspired the competitors to achieve some superb scores.

Medal results for Archers of Teme members: Mark North – gent’s longbow – Long National round - gold medal. Declan Morgan – gent’s longbow – national round – bronze medal. Ben MacVean – junior gent’s (under-14) junior national round – gold medal. Libby Keysell – junior ladies (under-14) junior national Round – gold medal. Sofi Keysell - junior ladies (under-12) junior national round - gold medal. David Jennings - junior gent’s (under-10) short junior national round – gold medal.
