THE Past Members Trophy at Ludlow GC played in memory of all the club's late members is always well supported and this year the Betterball Stableford Shotgun was again fully subscribed.
Captain Barry Russell took great delight in presenting the trophy to his vice-captain Ian Cade with partner Nigel Griffiths who scored an excellent 43 points.
Runners-up, one shot behind, were the in-form pair of John Adams and Tony Watton.
Meanwhile, in the Hargrove Competition, Ludlow A and B teams are through to the next round.
The A team had a resounding home win against Hill Valley GC and secured a win and two halves in the away leg.
Ludlow B beat Telford Golf and Country Club at home and were given a walkover for the away leg.
