LUDLOW rounded off their West Midlands Premier Division campaign with a 3-0 win at Stafford.

With a few players missing due to the game being played in midweek, the visitors lined up with an experienced defence with the more junior members of the club taking up the attacking roles.

Stafford started the stronger and on several occasions created chances only for the final touch to go missing to ensure that it remained goalless at the break.

The second half saw the visitors up the tempo with strong penetrating attacks down both flanks. They were awarded their first penalty corner 15 minutes after the break and when a well rehearsed routine was stopped illegally on the line up stepped Sam Pratt to convert the resulting penalty stroke.

Ludlow doubled their lead when Stuart Richards converted a second penalty corner and they wrapped up the win when newcomer Tom Blount netted ten minutes from time to ensure the side finished the season fifth.
