HEREFORD manager Pete Beadle says that his players must realise it’s a squad game and there will be times when they have to sit out of matches.

Pablo Haysham, who has been a key player for the Bulls during the past two seasons, wasn’t even on the bench for last Saturday’s win at Weymouth, while Jamie Molyneux didn’t travel.

Beadle confirmed that Molyneux was set to join a Northern Premier League side on a dual registration deal, but the club pulled out at the last minute.

“We agreed to it and Jamie was happy to go there and get some games, but the club changed their mind and it left us in a bit of limbo,” said Beadle.

“Jamie trains well, but he needs to get his confidence back and when he does, I am sure we will reap the benefits.”

“We’ve got wide players in abundance at the moment, so unfortunately he missed out on Saturday and didn’t even travel.

“But he understands and he is the same. He hasn’t been in top form, but has been ok.

“But the two wide men today have been exceptional again, so if one of them picks up an injury or has a loss in form, then they will be sat there waiting for their opportunity.”

Talking about Haysham, Beadle said the playmaker needs a rest following two long seasons at the club.

“He understands that and is fully behind the staff and the team in what we’re doing.

“He hasn’t played badly, he’s played ok, but sometimes it’s time for him to have a rest and step out of the team and come back fresh and revitalised and ready to go again. Hopefully they will understand that is part of the squad and we need to make sure that everyone stays fit and hungry and at some point in the season, everyone has a part to play.

“If we are going to continue doing what we’re doing and carrying on the momentum, we need everyone on board and it’s not that easy.”

Haysham has been put on the left hand side of midfield at times, but Beadle says he is able to play there.

“He is accustomed to it and is what’s required out there,” said Beadle.

Meanwhile, Beadle is still on the search for a goalkeeper after being knocked back by one of his targets.

The Bulls boss said the player informed him on Monday that he didn’t want to join the club, so Beadle is now looking through his ‘endless list’ of other targets, with a meeting set to be held with one either today or on Saturday.

Rumours have circulated that Tyrrell Belford could be joining the club after leaving National League North side Nuneaton Town.

“We’ve had a list of targets anyway so we’re working through those.

“It wouldn’t be right to mention anything until someone signs.”

Hereford face Frome Town tonight in the Evo-Stik South.

Beadle says he will have a full squad travelling down and says he may tweak the side slightly, but wholesale changes are unlikely.
