A CRAVEN Arms business has stepped in to sponsor the town's football club.
Local business Total Response Ltd are part of Shropshire Housing Group, one of the biggest employers in Craven Arms, and have given the club £500 which will now be used by Craven Arms Town FC to buy new team rain jackets.
"With CATFC finishing fifth in the Mercian Regional Football League First Division, nothing is going to dampen their spirits and we mean nothing thanks to a new sponsorship deal with TRL, said club chairman Clive Leworthy.
“We really appreciate the backing of our sponsors and this is the second deal with Shropshire Housing Group, with Total Response already a sponsor.”
Francis Narweh, director of TRL, added that the company is pleased to be involved with the club which is at the heart of the town.
