GRAHAM Jones leads Ludlow Golf Club’s Sitwell qualifiers having won Division Two of the March Medal.
Jones secured the best score of the day with a net 65 ahead of Richard Cox .
Division One went to John Mifflin who returned to winning ways with a net 66, three clear of Ian Cade and Peter Monk.
Despite difficult conditions, players in Division Three still set a strong standard with Larry Speers coming out on top with a net 76. The top 16 now go forward to challenge for the Sitwell Cup. Meanwhile, the professionals won the Captain v Pro Series 19-13.
Captain John Harris was presented the silverware by club professional Russell Price. Next Friday, Nigel Griffiths and Malcolm Weaver are hosting a quiz will be held from 7.30pm.
Entry is £5 for teams up to four members.
