A derby victory over Hereford at the end of last month was backed up with a success against Birmingham Mets which moved them out of the bottom two.
Zan Matuszewska dominated in the libero position and the attacking prowess of middle-hitter Harriet Snape won her players’ player of the match versus Birmingham. Lindsey Potter was most valuable player.
Cleobury edged a tight opening set 26-24 against Hereford but seized control 25-13 and 25-23 to ease through. Shannon Smith was players’ player with Matuszewska most valuable.
