LUDLOW let slip a two-goal lead at Bromsgrove’s fortress but still emerged as the first team not to lose there this season in a 3-3 draw.

The hosts took an early lead but Lawrence Richards equalised by stretching to covert James Pratt’s cross-shot before the in-form Pratt netted himself.

Jake Watts made it 3-1 by half-time before Bromsgrove kicked off a second-half onslaught by getting one back shortly after the break.

Ill discipline led to Ludlow having a brief spell with nine men and the match was levelled during this time and although Bromsgrove pressed for a winner, the visitors held firm.

Ludlow Fathom lost 2-0 at Tamworth but the ladies, restricted to only 10 players, enjoyed a 5-4 comeback victory over Kington in the Marches League.

Jodie Beddow got the opener which was cancelled out by half-time and Kington netted three after the restart. However, Jodie Beddow scored from three short corners before Clodagh Beddow got the winner on the break.

Tenbury’s ladies saw off Worcester II’s spirited attempts to overturn a two-goal deficit to register a 4-2 success in a match played at Stourport.

Abi Davis was at the double, the second arriving from a short corner, to put Tenbury 2-0 up at half-time but Worcester halved the arrears early in the second half.

Tenbury restored their two-goal cushion when Hannah Weatherall converted from Emily Mosley’s cross only for Worcester to strike once more.

The match was on a knife edge until Mosley stepped up to settle the verdict, firing home from Catherine Mumford’s delivery.
