TEENAGER Hereford FC goalkeeper Max Harris has been named in the England Schoolboys squad for the forthcoming season.
Harris - who has played a number of games this season for Pegasus Juniors on a dual registration deal - will meet up with his teammates at the end of the month for a friendly against Australia before taking on Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in the Centenary Shield.
Harris has been through a series of regional trials, culminating in matches against the RAF and Navy to whittle the final 32 trialists down.
Hereford manager Pete Beadle tweeted his congratulations upon hearing the news.
Congratulations to Max Harris who has now been selected for the England Schools Squad. Well Done Max, only the start of a promising career.
