LUDLOW Golf Club celebrated a highly successful 2015 campaign at the club’s annual presentation evening.

The club captains hosted a dinner prior to the presentation of the trophies, with the well-attended event proving a fitting end to the membership year.

The competition winners included the respective 2015 club champions, Harry Lines and Tara Rodenhurst.

The prize winners competition was taken by Alison Reynolds with an excellent winning score of 39 points. Her back-nine return of 19 was enough to hold off the valiant efforts of runner-up Nick Goodwin. Liam Magill and Darren Humphries were both in close attendance just a further shot back.

Ludlow also had the honour of staging the prestigious County Junior Spring Cup, an event that was won by Liam Williams from the Burghill Valley club. He tied on 148 points with Joe Blunden (Wrekin GC) after 18 competitive holes and claimed the top prize after emerging triumphant over three sudden death play-off holes.

John Harris and county president Peter Turner presented junior champion Williams with the trophy.
