LOCAL boxing talent Craig Morris has won an exciting sponsorship deal from expanding Ludlow company Flowfit.
Flowfit owner Simon Parsonage admits he had no hesitation in backing Morris, a successful amateur who won multiple ABA Midlands titles as well as a Senior Open Midlands title. The light middleweight is currently training for his first professional bout against Halesowen’s Kevin McAuley at Walsall Town Hall on Saturday April 25.
“Flowfit are very pleased and proud to be sponsoring Craig in his quest to be a champion professional boxer and we are delighted he has accepted our offer to be his main sponsor,” said Parsonage. “We will be there supporting him in Walsall.”
Flowfit are leaders in the worldwide export of hydraulic components and recently unveiled plans to expand their business in the town on the site of the former Coder Road highways depot.
Morris would also like to thank Morris Autos, DW Wall & Son, Elm Lodge Weddings and Events and Arboretum Tree Services for their sponsorship.
Interest in boxing locally is growing and there are two coaches booked to travel to Walsall to support Morris. Ticket and travel details are available from Duncan on 07890-844418.
