"Jo's a really experienced player and coach and really understands what we go through and how to help us to achieve our goals.

"The sessions she takes are really enjoyable but hard work too.

"Jo's very understanding and approachable and that creates a good atmosphere for us all.

"I've learnt a lot from her already, as well as learning from the new assistant coaches Kevin Moggridge and Elaine Limmond.

"I'm one of the older and more experienced players.

"As a team we have a point to prove, we've been working really hard inside and outside the camp and the aim is to develop together as a team and to become more aggressive in defence and more clinical in attack.

"We all really want to make a mark this year and show the talent within the squad, so we're hoping to beat France."

"One of the biggest highlights was singing the anthem, there is no feeling quite like it," said Davies.

"I can remember making a few big hits in the game and I definitely felt I gained more respect from the players after that game as I was a new comer to the squad and one of the youngest as well."

Davies has been at Worcester since she was 13 and made her debut when she was 18.

She is currently out injured, but his hopeful of returning this Sunday to face Darlington Mowden Park Sharks in a Women's Premier League game.

"We'd like to win the Premiership this season, it'll take a lot of hard work but the team is definitely building," said Davies.

"Personally I want to continue to start each week for the team and continue to improve on my individual aspects of the game."
