MANAGER Dave Cooper believes youngster Liam Taylor will make an even bigger impact at AFC Ludlow next season.

The dynamo shone last term, winning the club’s young player of the year honour as Ludlow lifted the West Midlands League Division Two title.

“Liam Taylor had an excellent season with us and the young player of the year award marked the coming of age for him,” said Cooper.

“He was a vital part of your success last term and, if he continues to work hard, I am sure he will have a major impact again in the new season.”

Ludlow’s players reported back for pre-season training at the Showtime Stadium this week.

The new league season gets underway on August 9.

And Cooper has confirmed that Ludlow will be playing their home matches on the AGP surface.

AFC Ludlow’s pre-season programme so far: FC Stafford (away) July 12; AFC Bridgnorth (away) July 19; Church Stretton (away) July 23; Oakengates (venue to be arranged), August 2.
