TENBURY gave their chances of avoiding the drop in Midlands Four West (North) a giant shot in the arm when they won 36-10 at relegation rivals Warley.

And Clee Hill did their near neighbours a favour as well as doing their own promotion prospects no harm with a 58-3 success over Five Ways Old Edwardians.

Bishops Castle, with a 36-5 success against basement club St Leonards, made it a clean sweep for the Division’s Advertiser-area clubs.

Much-changed Ludlow suffered a Midlands Two West (North) battering when they were hammered 72-18 at Crewe.

Tenbury United made it a fine sporting day for the town with an 11-0 success against Shobdon Res in the Leintwardine Cup.
