Rugby defeats for Bishop's Castle and Clee Hill

Barton-under-Needwood 36 pts Bishop’s Castle 19.

BISHOP’S Castle remain winless in Midlands Four West (North) after they came unstuck at Barton-under-Needwood.

Three early home tries left Bishop’s Castle up against it, and despite Gary Walters and Anthony Dale getting a try apiece, it was not enough.

“We played well, but we are making a few mistakes,” said Bishop Castle’s Glyn Morris.

“If we can cut them out then we will start to win games.”

Harborne 25 pts Clee Hill 5.

THREE tries in the first-half by Harborne meant that Clee Hill were always struggling in this Midlands Four West (North) game.

The home side went 22-0 up at the break and, despite Tom Geyton going under the posts midway through the second-half, Harborne came out deserving winners. Clee Hill remain winless after two games.
