Gold hauls for Jordan Angel and Grace Ralph at Ludlow Swimming Club

JORDAN Angel and Grace Ralph struck gold at Ludlow Swimming Club’s end-of-year championships.

Jordan won 13 gold medals in the 16-year-old boys’ section and Grace Ralph secured 11 golds in the 12-year-old girls’ category.

Six-year-old Jack Evans and Freya Davies, aged seven, were the youngest members and swam the 25-metre freestyle in 28.88 and 30.66 seconds, respectively The championships involved each age group of swimmers from nine years to the 17 and above.

And swimmers competed in a host of distances including 25 metres for under-9, and 50 100, 200 and 400 metres for older competitors using each stroke.

Swimmers and their families enjoyed a barbecue and game at the club’s presentation evening at Ludlow Rugby Club.
