Andrew Green hits hat-trick as Bishop's Castle win at Newcastle

ANDREW Green was a hat-trick hero as Bishop’s Castle lifted the Newcastle Cup.

Sam Maden headed home Castle’s opening goal and they remained in control against a disappointing Newcastle.

Newcastle's Aidie Jones hit the bar just before the break but they were 3-0 down when Richard Jones pulled a goal back.

Both teams have a chance to win silverware before the end of the season.

Castle host Ludlow Town Reserves in the Bishop’s Castle Cup final on May 6 and Newcastle travel to Presteigne Reserves in the Alf Sparey Cup semi-final on May 2.
