Archer Alison Williamson waiting to hear on London Olympics bid

ARCHER Alison Williamson will hear next month whether she’s secured her place at this year’s Olympic Games in London.

She finished third in the women’s categories at the Great Britain trials at Lilleshall at the weekend.

Amy Oliver and Naomi Folkard took the two automatic qualification spots.

But Alison is fancied to make the grade after coming ahead of rival Charlotte Burgess. She will hear her fate at Lord’s on May 9.
