Tenbury Town boss Darren Worthington to carry on at club

TENBURY Town boss Darren Worthington says he will be staying on for another season — after his team rounded off their league campaign in fine style.

Worthingon praised Chris Patton, who gave a man-of-the-match display, as Town climbed to sixth spot in Herefordshire League Division Two North.

Patton scored one of Town’s goals and had a part in the other two as they beat Wolseley 3-0.

“I have decided to carry on for another season,” revealed Worthington, who, at Christmas, admitted he was thinking of standing down from the managerial hot-seat.
