Tenbury's Maisie Farr bends it like David Beckham for Birmingham City

TEENAGE footballer Maisie Farr has been bending it like Beckham in her maiden season at Birmingham City.

The 13-year-old central-defender from Eardiston, near Tenbury Wells, has previously shone for Kidderminster and Wolves girls’ teams.

Maisie has been playing against the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Arsenal, Everton and Ipswich Town during this winter.

She started her football career with Tenbury Youth and hopes to make it into Birmingham City’s Under-15 girls' squad next season.

Maisie is a pupil at Tenbury High School — her grandfather is the school’s former head of PE, Robin Farr, who has just celebrated his 80th birthday.
