Goalkeeper Dave Cooper, ex-Woofferton and Leominster Town, could be next Ludlow Town Football Club manager

EXPERIENCED goalkeeper Dave Cooper has emerged as the early front-runner to take over Ludlow Town’s managerial hot-seat for next season.
The former Woofferton and Leominster Town stopper has played more than 800 matches at local level and knows the area’s football scene well.
Cooper made a superb reflex save in the opening minute of the second-half in last Saturday’s disappointing defeat against Morda at the SBS Stadium.
“We’re in talks with a few people at the moment about next season,” revealed Town manager Mike Seaborne, who is stepping down at the end of this campaign.
“It’s a hard job to fill and goalkeeper Dave Cooper has shown a bit of interest and he knows the scene well,” added Seaborne, who still hopes to be involved in the first-team.
“We’re not going to put pressure on anyone to take over the role because it’s got to be someone who is willing to do it.”
