BEN James’ proudest moment in rugby was crossing the whitewash after selling a dummy to former England World Cup winner Jason Robinson.

Now the 24-year-old farmer from Leysters wants to put National One rugby on his sporting CV.

“It would be massive to go up to another level with Luctonians,” said Ben, who is a flanker for the north Herefordshire side.

“This is the highest level that Luctonians have ever played at.

“Going up to the next level would be unbelievable. It would be like going to the top of a mountain.”

Luctonians are in their second season at National Two North and are fighting for second place - which would secure a promotion play-off spot.
