REIGNING champions Wellington Reserves suffered their first defeat of the Herefordshire Premier as no team remain with a perfect record from the opening four games.

Fownhope were the side to upset the Welly by taking a 2-1 victory with James Aquah and Richard Bufton both netting.

Westfields Reserves dropped further points as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Hinton.

The hosts went ahead early in the tie through Harry Simpson before Jack Manuel levelled for Fields.

Ewyas Harold were on the end of 8-2 drumming from the league new side Clee Hill.

The Shropshire side opened the scoring with two early goals and despite the visitors going down to 10 men after 20 minutes Richard Sevenoaks and Rob Cooper Tomkinson drew them level.

However, Clee Hill regained the lead just before the break before running riot in the second half.

Malvern Town Reserves are top and the only side to gain 10 points from four games following a 3-2 victory over Tenbury United.

Ryan Rowlett scored a brace but couldn’t help Holme Lacy from suffering a 5-2 defeat at Tenbury Town.

In the Herefordshire FA Junior Cup Orleton first team came from behind to clinch a 2-1 victory over their reserve side.

Jacob Thorley opened the scoring for the reserves in the first half before Chris Breakwell and Brandon Himsley both netted to send the firsts into the next round.

Division One leaders Ross Juniors will be the side to beat after seeing off Belmont Rangers 7-0 with Mike Donaldson and Paul Wooding both netting a brace each while Joe Loftus, Geraint Williams and Jack Wright also scored.

They will play Marden in the next round.
