ASSISTANT boss Dean Morris admitted Tenbury Town need to work on their match fitness after another late collapse saw them ship six goals for the second time in two games.

After going 1-0 down at home to Ewyas Harold in the Herefordshire Premier, Tenbury led 3-1 through Adam Everall, Jack Farrar and Matt Clifford.

But a second-half capitulation saw United beaten 6-3 – after losing their first game 6-2 – and they host league leaders Ledbury this Saturday.

Morris said: “We seem to falter in the second half and that’s something we have to try to sort out. I think it’s about fitness but also our heads drop a little bit.

“We have some lads to come back and hopefully that will hold us in good stead but it’s a tough league.”

Tenbury United drew their first game of the Premier Division season 0-0 at home to Fownhope.

Orleton’s first team lost their Division One opener 2-0 at Hereford Lads Club Reserves while Orleton Reserves began their Division Two campaign by losing 4-1 at home to Pegasus Reserves.
