CHURCH Stretton produced an inspired display to sign off their home campaign in West Midlands Division Two with a 7-0 trouncing of AFC Bilbrook.

And it was 16-year-old James Hill who led the way with a hat-trick as his side continued their impressive form that has seen them drop just two points from their last seven games.

Dean Richards also bagged a brace for Stretton with the other goals coming Matty Jones and Jordan Wells.

Paul Smith’s side have three away games to go in the league. They were due to play Bewdley Town Reserves last night before heading to Gornal Colts on Saturday and then completing the season at Warstone Wanderers on Tuesday.

League rivals Ludlow were also in action on Saturday but were on the receiving end of a 4-0 defeat at Gornal Colts.

Luke Hicks’ side will also round off their season on the road. They were set to play at AFC Broseley on Tuesday before heading to Bewdley Town Reserves next Tuesday.
