A GROUP from Bishop’s Castle Tennis Club will be heading to Sweden next month as they take part in a four-day tennis tour.
The five women will be heading to Upsala where they will mix their tennis with opportunities to enjoy the Scandinavian cultural. They will be staying with members of a Swedish tennis club.
The trip was the idea of Sue Cooper who explained how the visit came about.
“I had a visit from a friend from Upsala last summer and while in Bishop’s Castle she played some
tennis and really enjoyed the convivial company and idyllic surroundings of the Bishop’s
Castle Club,” she said.
“She suggested that we might take a group to Sweden this spring and then have a return visit to Bishop’s Castle later in the year.”
