LUDLOW are hoping to be back in West Midlands Premier League hockey action on Sunday when they take on Shrewsbury in a re-arranged game at Much Wenlock.
While Shrewsbury have been struggling in recent games and battling to avoid relegation, they are sure to raise their game against their county rivals.
Ludlow were impressive in holding league leaders Sikh Union to a 3-3 draw two weeks ago and will be hoping to carry on that form with games against lowly West Bromwich and mid-table Stafford pencilled in for the following week.
Ludlow’s Ladies play host to Shrewsbury 3rds at Wenlock on Saturday.
