CLEOBURY Mortimer Golf Club professional Amy Millward is to spend a month working alongside coaches at the world renowned Butch Harmon School of Golf in Dubai.
And she hopes to use some of the tips and skills she picks up in her own coaching when she returns to Shropshire at the end of January.
Millward said: “When I went over to Dubai in May, I was lucky enough to get to know Jamie and Natalie who are two of the coaches there and the opportunity arose.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity and I can’t wait to get over there.
"I will be shadowing all the coaches based there and assisting with the junior programme as well as helping and assisting with some other jobs.
“I’m hoping I’ll learn a lot while I’m there which I can bring home and implement into my own coaching and junior classes we run here at Cleobury.
"There’s also the added bonus of some winter sun."
She flies out at the end of December.
