CRAVEN ARMS TOWN remain bottom of the Mercian Regional League Premier Division after losing 3-0 at Oakengates Rangers Youth.
Town have won just one of their nine league games so far this season and are behind fellow strugglers Shifnal United 97 on goal difference.
Brown Clee picked up a point in Division One after an eight-goal thriller at mid-table Stoke Heath.
Clee went 2-0 down early on but Roger Parkes’ header reduced the deficit at the break.
Goals from Alfie Hollieheads and Jamie Norman put Clee ahead but Stoke Heath pulled it back to 3-3 before Kelvin Powell’s 30-yard strike put Clee on top again.
It wasn’t to be for Clee, however, as Stoke Heath equalised and it finished 4-4.
Elsewhere, Bishop’s Castle thrashed Caersws Reserves 7-1 in the Montgomeryshire Football League Division One.
Newcastle’s strong start to the season continued with a 2-1 victory against Presteigne Reserves in Mid Wales League (South).
