RETURNING loan star Adam Page says he has unfinished business at Hereford.

The flying winger is back with the Bulls after joining Pete Beadle's team for a second loan spell from Cheltenham Town.

Page became an instant hint with the Hereford faithful after scoring nine goals in the Midland Football League two years ago.

A foot injury saw his loan spell cut short and further set-backs meant that he has hardly played any football during the past 18 months.

It looked like the 20-year-old would be joining Hereford again at the start of this season, but he instead found himself at Conference South outfit Gloucester City.

But a lack of game time has seen him back with the Bulls and he says he cannot wait to get going again.

"Cheltenham wanted me to go and play at a higher level than Hereford, so I went to Gloucester just after the season started," said Page.

"But it didn't really work out there and didn't get the amount of games that I was hoping for.

"So it's nice to be back at Hereford, it's been a while.

"I want to get back to the level I was at and hopefully I could do that.

"The club has changed a lot but I kept in touch with Beads and some of the lads are still there.

"It's a new challenge because I haven't played at this level before, but I'm looking forward to it.

"It's a big big squad here that is full of quality but I will definitely be looking to break into the team and hope to get some good game time.

"I feel fit, but it's about getting match fitness back and hopefully I can get that at Hereford."

Hereford manager Pete Beadle said he was delighted to get Page back.

"I've always stayed in touch with him because he did very well for us," he said.

"I had a gentleman's agreement that he would come back to us so I was a bit surprises that he went to Gloucester.

"But he only played about an hour for them in seven games, which is not what he needs.

"So we're pleased to have him back."
