WOOFFERTON rounded off their Herefordshire County League Division One campaign with a 6-3 victory over Ledbury Town Reserves.
Leading scorer Dan Gower struck a hat-trick with the other goals coming from Si Bradley, Jack Ingram and Dave Thomas.
And it capped a good season for Thomas who also picked up a Manager’s Player of the Season award at the club’s presentation night. Bryn Martin received the Players’ Player award.
Thomas said: “We ended the season well, finishing fourth, and we're confident that we’ll be making a serious challenge for the league next season.”
Last week saw Division One rivals Ludlow Colts round off their first season in senior football with a narrow 3-2 defeat at Wellington Colts, Dan Crowther with a brace of penalties.
Elsewhere, there was disappointment for Church Stretton Town as they lost 3-0 to Oakengates Athletic in the final of the Shropshire Challenge Cup.
Clee Hill United beat Childs Ercall 5-2 in the Premier Division of the Sportsjam League while in Division One, Brown Clee lost 3-0 at Broseley but Craven Arms Town beat leaders Shrewsbury Juniors 3-2.
