LUDLOW will be seeking revenge in a make-or-break clash on Saturday when promotion rivals Burntwood visit the Linney.

Norman Stalker’s men, defeated 30-28 in a thriller in Staffordshire in November, suffered a second defeat of the season at Uttoxeter last weekend to relinquish top spot to Cleobury Mortimer.

A bonus point success could see the pendulum swing back their way with the derby adversaries level at the Midlands Three West (North) summit but third-placed Burntwood are just a point behind. Cleobury travel to mid-table Edwardians.

At the other end, Clee Hill hit the road in a bid to regain the upper hand in the relegation dogfight.

They will have their work cut out when visiting fourth-placed Handsworth with Willenhall, who jumped back out of the bottom two at the expense of Clee Hill seven days ago, away to rock-bottom Eccleshall.

Church Stretton host Yardley & District while Bishop’s Castle & Onny Valley travel to Five Ways Old Edwardians with their scrap for survival in Midlands Four West (North) set to go to the wire.

Top-of-the-table Tenbury must play the waiting game in Midlands Five West (North) as promotion hopefuls Greyhound, Market Drayton and Aldridge each play games in hand against teams at the lower end of the table.
