THERE was a magnificent seven for Brimfield and Little Hereford bowlers as they marched on to the game’s national finals – with the men also joining the party this time.
The club’s ladies traditionally do well at county level and this year is no exception with Brimfield represented in six prestigious flat green competitions at Leamington Spa this month. (August)
They will be joined by Brimfield’s Alec Tandler and Ashley Edwards will be competing at Leamington in the men’s pairs after reaching the final at county level.
The ladies will carry the flag for Herefordshire in rink, pairs, two and four wood singles, senior singles and senior pairs.
Among those representing Brimfield are Barbara Griffiths, Karen Tandler, Jennie Cole and Josie Ward.
The Bowls England Championships will be staged in Victoria Park from August 6 to September 4.
